March Hares 2026 is a two day HEMA event hosted by Auckland Longsword.
Saturday, 21st March is a light longsword, swiss tournament. Competitors will face unique opponents from around New Zealand, over multiple rounds, in a test of skill and endurance. The ruleset can be found here.
Sunday, 22nd March is a fencing workshop from Adrien Michaud. Adrien is one of the founders and coaches at Auckland Longsword. He will be teaching us about how to classify your opponent into a fencing profile then using this to your advantage and more.
Participants are expected to follow our code of conduct.
